Asymmetrical and raking rooflines, high floor to ceiling windows and sharp dark stria cladding effortlessly connect to an existing sandstock brick house. A modern kitchen with an oversized angled benchtop, master bedroom with ensuite and a main bathroom were new additions, complimented by off form concrete stairs, spotted gum treads, polished concrete floors and oversized windows. The well considered sleek design offers a refreshed and modern look while still appreciating the existing house.

Environmentally conscious inclusions include 7.2 KW solar system, 10,000L rainwater tank, Hydronic floor heating, Resene cool colour (heat reflective technology) paint, zero VOC paints by Wattyl, Recycled brick paving to driveway, recycled spotted gum posts and stair treads, rejuvenating and reinstating the existing cedar ceilings.
