Continuing Crawford Architects long relationship with the Illawarra Catholic Club our response for the club’s expansion, redevelopment and hotel creates an exciting contribution to Hurstville.

The design makes the most of the central location and incorporates parking, redeveloped Club space and new recreational facilities. Crawford Architects have identified an innovative approach to this next chapter of Illawarra Catholic Clubs’ development in the form of the new hotel that compliments the buildings close to Illawarra Catholic Club and closely relates to the neighbouring amenities in Hurstville through the use of colour, materials, scale and detail, whilst maximising the opportunity of a new development.

A major and well coordinated project for Crawford Architects, this new build and extension to the existing Club incorporates many team members and consultants. Design and documentation to Club Central included a new roof top bar, office spaces, bistro restaurant and bar, gaming areas and a five level Travelodge Hotel extension (Travelodge Interior Design by others).
