This house was built on a narrow site over looking the Lane Cove River.
Our Clients had purchased an old brick bungalow and considered renovation before accepting our recommendation to re-build. This decision gave much greater scope for making best use of the dramatic water views from the site.
The northwest aspect required the inclusion of solar control elements that were integral to the design of the house. Sailcloth blinds, external louvres and shadecloth frames were employed in different applications for sun control.
