It’s international women’s day, and at Crawford’s we are celebrating both new colleagues and also recent graduates and students. Just recently two South American architects have been announced as the winners of The Architectural Review and The Architects’ Journal’s 2018 Women in Architecture Awards. Architect of the Year was awarded to Peruvian architect Sandra Barclay, while Paraguayan architect Gloria Cabral is the winner of the Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture. Crawford Architects enjoys a multi-national cohort in our North Sydney offices and we recently had the pleasure of welcoming Gracia Fernandez to the team who also hails from Peru. Gracia has taken the lead on one of our complex projects and we are looking forward to the contribution her great experience will bring to the company.
So with the international side highlighted, lets also take the opportunity to showcase some of the work of one of our recent students, Hyun Min Park: Min recently celebrated her final exhibition at UNSW and has worked with Crawford’s over the last four years, we look forward to watching her career grow from strength to strength.
We are very proud at Crawford Architects not only of the students and recent graduates that are currently doing great things with us and also those that have worked with us during their first steps in what will hopefully be a rewarding career.
