We offer thoughtful and innovative advice based on our extensive property and building experience which has matured over time.
Our project management skills are well recognised, as are our planning, construction and documentation expertise. Accurate and relevant documentation and timely delivery are hallmarks of our service to our clients along with our ethical approach.
We’re passionate about what we do and we enjoy creating architecture that transforms our clients’ problems into elegant and meaningful designs - whether a modest residential project or a complicated commercial project.

where we started
In 1977, John Crawford co-founded Crawford / Howard Pty Ltd., which later became Crawford Partners in 1992. In 2001, along with four partners, he transformed the company into an international affair with the formation of Crawford Architects, maintaining headquarter offices in Sydney, Australia and Kansas City, Missouri.

Crawford Architects maintains its Australian headquarters in Sydney and have since expanded to Western Australia. Our USA headquarters are located in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2018, the firm expanded with branch offices Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA and San Diego, CA to provide our West Coast clients the client service we are known for delivering.

With experience over different sectors of Architecture and Interior Design, including sports, sports venues, entertainment, commercial, retail, residential, health and Industrial, this places Crawford in a unique position to draw design principles and considerations from all sectors and combine them to create a highly functional, state of the art facility that answers the needs of the users, operator and community.
We have experience in effectively working within a team focused project, utilising the skills of external consultants and professionals where required. We understand the importance of communication and coordination to ensure a successful project. Crawford Architects will ensure a concept envisioned at the start of a project will follow through from design development to construction documentation until built true to the initial desired design. We strive to produce successful and long-lasting spaces and buildings.
